Morris, who in the vicinity at Landmark Christian High School, signed as a free agent. The 6-foot-11, 250-smacker middle course averaged 2.6 points in 23 games with the Knicks.
The Hawks hope Morris can team with Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia to postulate more bulk in the inner.
“We can of course use a competitor like Randolph, whose addition will give us much needed concentration at the breeding ground station,” Hawks teacher Mike Woodson said. “We like what we saw of him during our seasonal coalition , and we be certain of he will resume to mature his skills to become a clever contestant in our league.”

League champion CSKA Moscow will join two other Euroleague in playing presentation games against NBA opponents this season, the NBA announced Wednesday.
FC Barcelona and Lietuvos Rytas of Lithuania also will act on the Euroleague American tour, which features five games from Oct. 10-21.
CSKA Moscow, which won its sixth Euroleague title this season, Orlando on Oct. 10 and will play in Toronto four days later. The Golden State Warriors host Lietuvos Rytas on Oct. 21.
FC Barcelona, which has in no way played in the United States, has two games in Los Angeles. The Spanish team the Lakers on Oct. 18, then either one the Clippers or Raptors in its following contest at the “Preseason Shootout.”
