He will play defending champion Gilles Simon after the second-seeded Frenchman beat eighth-seeded Jose Acasuso of Argentina 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4.
The sixth-seeded Moya, who reached the final in 1996, was more aggressive and appeared fresher than Gasquet despite winning a grueling three-set quarterfinal on Friday.
Gasquet was plagued by inaccuracy, serving five double-faults and winning less than a third of second-serve points.

Paszek, Schnyder advance to Bali Open final.
Tamira Paszek upset top-seeded Daniela Hantuchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 to set up Sunday’s final against second-seeded Patty Schnyder at the Bali Open.
In Saturday’s other semifinal, Schnyder beat fourth-seeded Nadia Petrova 7-5, 6-1 to improve to 7-5 against the Russian.
Paszek, ranked 85th, is aiming for her second career title.
